Improve this answer. My upgrade finished without a problem. The only thing I can think of is that maybe your C drive didn't have enough space on it to do the actual upgrade. Rebooted and remoted back into a Windows Server Enterprise server. Pretty impressive.. I had to get to bed, so I couldn't Huzzah for the tireless pursuit of knowledge.
